What to Expect?
Is Laser Hair Removal effective?
The purpose of laser hair removal is to REDUCE the amount and thickness of hair in treated sites, so your goals must be realistic. It is rare to see 100% total clearance of all hairs in a treated area. Generally, there’s a hair clearance rate of roughly 70% after the recommended number of treatments. Results will vary person to person. I recommend coming in for FREE laser hair removal consultation so we can go over a treatment plan.
How long is each appointment?
Small areas may take as little as 15 minutes, while larger areas, such as the back and leg, may require up to an hour or more.
Is Laer Hair Removal painful?
Pain is common during the treatment, though it's usually fairly minimal. I recommend using a topical numbing cream, like Numb Master, before your appointment.
What areas can I laser?
All areas can be treated. However, hair must be dark. It works on all skin types. Almost all of the body including Abdomen, Back, Front, and Back of the Neck, Buttocks, Bikini Area, Cheeks, Chest, Chin, Eyebrows, Ears, Nose Hair, Feet, Forehead, Legs, Arms, Hands, Head, Neck, Shoulders, Underarms, etc. can be treated for men and women.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments required will depend on the area being treated, your hair density, heredity, hormone levels, and the hair’s growth cycle. Usually clients with thinner hair need between 6 and 8, and those with thicker, darker hair need between 8 and 12. Depending on the area being treated, appointments are spaced 4-8 weeks apart.
Are there any side effects?
Skin in the treated site may become red, tender and slightly swollen for a few days following the procedure. Please follow all laser hair removal preparation and aftercare recommendations to reduce any adverse side effects.
